Overseas Delivery Program Overview*
For over forty years, Volvo Overseas Delivery has delivered Volvo cars throughout the world.

Whether you are traveling to Europe for leisure or business, a member of the Diplomatic Corps or armed forces, the Overseas Delivery Program offers a wide range of delivery options. Overseas delivery provides services for four groups of eligible customers:

  • Tourist: Individuals visiting Europe for less than six months.
  • Diplomat: Holders of diplomatic passports and certain other visas who are entitled to operate a vehicle on a tax and duty-free basis in the country where they are stationed. Some of the eligible visas include: NATO-1 and NATO-2; A-1 and A-2; G1 through G4
  • Military: Active duty members of the armed forces who will be stationed overseas for a minimum of 140 days.
  • Expatriates: Individuals must have a valid passport as well as proof of expatriate status (such as an employment contract or housing agreement), which must be submitted with your car order. You must also establish residence in the U.S. for an extended period (i.e. longer than six months). This program is primarily designed for European nationalities temporarily residing in the U.S. and offers a unique way to buy a U.S. specification Volvo.
